Esmoriz - a great place to travel to

Esmoriz is a portuguese town near Oporto and Aveiro. The city have 15.000 habitants and it´s a typical portuguese town with a beach and extremely sympathic people.

The beach have some kms long of sand where we can do great walks and we can even go through the sand to another beaches.

Another excelent thing in Esmoriz is the good restaurants with delicious portuguese food and the fantastic portuguese wine. All served with sympathie.

Esmoriz is a portuguese traditional town of fishermen where you still can see the fishermen going to the sea and see them returning with their net full of fish. You can see the fish still moving and buy the fish you want right there, in the beach, with the fish leaving the sea.

Esmoriz is a quiet place where we can feel peaceful. It´s a great place to rest for a few days.

Very near are some of the portuguese biggest cities: Espinho, only 5kms away, or Oporto, 25kms away or Aveiro, 50kms away. We can go to those cities for a little more "action" and then return to this quiet place to rest again. All this cities are very easy to go to, because Esmoriz have highways passing through the city so it only takes a few minutes to go to these cities. Even Lisbon, the portuguese capital, is only 2h30 away.
